Our Story
Four Decades of Mastery
Elias Maldonado began his journey in furniture restoration in 1983, driven by a passion for preserving the beauty of fine craftsmanship. His dedication led him to train at the prestigious Sotheby's Restoration, where he completed a rigorous four-year apprenticeship under master craftsmen.
In 1997, Elias founded Elias Conservation & Restoration Inc., bringing his expertise and vision to New York City. Today, the company employs 17 full-time skilled craftsmen, each trained in the traditional techniques that have made the firm a trusted name in the industry.
From start to finish, Elias personally inspects every project before finalization, ensuring the highest standards of quality that our clients have come to expect.
